Hello my lovelies!
It’s been a crazy couple of months for me full of things that I didn’t expect to happen! Sometimes things change when we never thought they would and the only thing you can do is deal with it, so I thought I’d share with you guys what I’ve learnt about dealing with change and the things that have really helped me out!
My friends have been my saving grace the last couple of months and I really don’t know how I would’ve got through it all without them! It’s really easy to push people away when you’re feeling down and being on your own sometimes is good, but being on your own all the time can make you feel worse! So go out and grab a coffee, go shopping, have a movie and PJ day and make the most of the people that will always be there no matter what!
Find Ways to Clear Your Mind
There’s so many great ways to clear your mind and help you sort through everything in your head. I love going to the gym, listening to music, writing in my journal and cooking! Having a hobby is also great, I started doing pole fitness classes and I absolutely love it, step out of your comfort zone and do that thing you’ve always wanted to do, because honestly you’ll probably love it!
The biggest thing I’ve learnt is to be honest with yourself, if you’re having a bad day it’s okay to say that you’re not feeling great. The worst thing I did was try to be happy all the time and I didn’t give myself any time to deal with anything, no one is going to tell you off for having a down day, everyone is human and everyone has them (whether they like to admit it or not) Giving yourself time to deal with how you’re feeling is really important!
Do Things For You
I actually find it really hard to just do things for me and not think about everyone else, but recently I’ve realised that sometimes being a bit selfish is okay! The best thing I’ve got out of this change is finding time for myself, one of my favourite things to do is light all my candles, put on a face mask and dance around my room 💃
