This weeks post is going to be a little different, summer time is approaching which means we will be bombarded with beautiful bikini pictures that can end up making some of us feel just a little average (raise your hand if you’ve ever felt personally victimised by bikini pictures).
It seems to be that struggling with self-image (whether you’re a girl or a boy) is just part of summer tradition now which totally sucks! We should be thinking about BBQ’s, beach days, family time and holidays, not if our stomach is hanging a little bit over our shorts. I am guilty of letting the way a feel about my body ruin a great holiday, I spend half the time sweating because I’m trying to cover up or when I do brave it and wear shorts out I’m constantly worried about how my legs look and I can tell you it is so booooring! So my mission for this summer is to have a completely amazing time and not ruin everything worrying about things that don’t matter and I’m hoping this blog will make you want to do that too!
If you want to go on a diet and exercise do it for you! Do it to make you feel healthy, to make you stronger and to make you happy! Don’t do it because someone made you feel like you have to or because you think it’s going to make you a better person because honestly it makes you the same person just a slightly different shape. People love you for your personality, the way you laugh, the great advice you give, the fact that you’re always smiling and all your other great traits, please remember that your body doesn’t define you, the kind of person you choose to be does!

So go out there and have an amazing time in your dresses, shorts, skirts and bikinis! Because as long as you’re having a good time, who cares!?
