I love trying all different types of products but I hate not liking what I’ve bought and being left with a whole bottle of something I’m never going to use again! This is why I subscribed to a monthly beauty box; I subscribed to Latest In Beauty after looking into lots of different beauty boxes (there are loads! and there’s a monthly box out there for everything! Food, craft, children’s boxes, pets etc.. so there is definitely something out there for everyone!) I chose this one because you can pick what products you want to be sent every month, which is a huge bonus to me because then I know I’ll use everything I get.
You can get a selection of boxes with Latest In Beauty, I get The Beauty Enthusiast which gives me 6 products and costs £15.00 a month, you can also get The Beauty Novice which gives you 3 products and costs £9.00 a month, or you could get The Beauty Guru which gives you 9 products and costs £18.00 a month.
So let’s get into this month’s box! The first product I received is the Porefessional from Benefit, I’ve used this product before and it is one of my absolute favourite primers, I ordered it in my box because it’s just nice to have one in a travel size! It really does what it says on the tin and minimizes the appearance of pores and helps your foundation go on really smoothly, it is also oil free which is heaven for my oily skin! I love this product and will continue to use it.
The next products I got are two face masks one is called Dead Sea Cooler Deep Cleansing Mask and the other is called Rosie Glow Deep Cleansing Mask they are both by the brand ooharr which I have never heard of before so I was super exited to try it out! I used the Dead Sea Cooler mask and I loved it! It really cleansed my face and cleared out my pores, it’s got peppermint, tea tree and witch hazel in it so it has a very fresh smell and is also good for blemish prone skin. My skin felt great after this and I can’t wait to use the other one!
The next product is an eye shadow set called Sultry Eyeshadows by Technic. This product was really disappointing, I didn’t have very high hopes for it when I swatched them on the back of my hand, they were very patchy and took a lot of time to get some decent pigment out of them. I decided to give them a fair chance and put them to the test on my eyes, they were okay but the weren’t very pigmented so you wouldn’t be able to get a very bold look out of them, they were very patchy and took a long time to blend and by the time I’d blended them out they were barely visible. After that I decided to cut my loses and go back to my other eyeshadows!
The next product I got was called Effaclar Duo from La Roche-Posay, it is best for oily and acne prone skin and really helped keep my skin clear (I don’t have acne but I do have oily skin which can cause quite large spots from time to time) it helps repair damaged skin and unclog pores and I love it, I will definitely be re purchasing this product!
The last product I ordered was the Caudalie Energizing and Smoothing Eye Cream, I’ve only been using this for a couple of days so I can’t see any difference in my dark circles yet, but it does leave my under eye very hydrated and looking like I’ve had a good nights sleep even if I haven’t! I can’t wait to continue to use this and if it does brighten up my dark circles I will definitely buy this again!
That’s everything from my beauty box this month! I hope you enjoyed it, thank you so much for reading my blog! Hopefully I’ll see you next time 🙂
